Write the New Year

Intended for December or January, to help usher in the coming year. In a safe supportive environment we’ll use simple journal writing techniques to cleanse ourselves of unwanted baggage from the old year, capture its highlights, and plant seeds for a bountiful new year. No previous writing experience necessary.

Intentional Collage

Recapture the fun you had as a child by making a photomontage with an inward twist. The intentional collage is based on a concept, desire, or issue that comes to mind during an opening visualization and is then developed on paper using related images and words. Your intention may be focused on your work, family, your self, boundaries, spirituality, or some abstract concept calling out for attention. We'll work in silence, with quiet background music and finish with a short writing exercise to further explore the collage-making experience and message. Collages may be framed and hung as reminders of specific goals or affirmations or gathered over time to make a visual journal.

Living Room Workshops

Bring journaling into your home with Living Room Journal Workshops. Simply choose a workshop, invite 8 friends, colleagues or acquaintances to your home or other arranged space and you attend for free! It's a great way to get people started in journaling or help them continue. Customized workshops can also be arranged. The workshops can be taught over a weekend or, for locations close to Lenox, MA, a series of weekday evenings. (Teaching to smaller groups is available within a 2-hour proximity to Lenox, MA.)

Customized Workshops

Do you have a group in mind who could benefit from journal writing? Customized workshops can be developed for any group or organization. Spiritual Journaling is popular among churches, Family Journals make wonderful keepsakes and help bring families together, and Teen Journals can be brought to high schools. Path Finders is a perfect journaling workshop for job and career seekers at any stage of their career. Professional Development Journaling can be offered to teachers, therapists, managers....what's your idea? Private sessions and speaking engagements can also be arranged.
